Downtown high-rise that leans into the whole slick-lobby, mood-lit hallway thing. Rooms are clean-lined and comfortable enough, but you're really paying for that rooftop — pool deck with a bar, skyline views, the kind of scene that gets loud on weekends. The gym exists, which is more than some places manage. Not cheap, but the location on San Jacinto puts you walking distance to Sixth Street without sleeping on top of it. Go for the rooftop at golden hour on a Tuesday when the crowd thins out.
